What information do we collect?

We collect limited information from you when you register using Muzecast forum or Muzecast Configurator. The information we collection is only:

EMail you use to register with Muzecast;
Your device Operating System version;
Your device screen resolution;

You can, however, visit our site anonymously. When you are registering with Muzecast, we will ask you only to create user name, password and provide your email for any communications. You can unregister at any time and all personal information will be removed from our servers immediately.

What do we use your information for?

Any information we collect from your may be used in one of the following ways:

To store your music library metadata by creating special storage for your library songs metadata, such as Artist, Album, Song, Genre, and Folder names;
To keep track of your connected computer to let Muzecast Mobile app find your computer on the Web;
To personalize your experience while you are using Muzecast with keeping track of number of times you played the song, or when the last time you played the song;
To store playlists you created using Muzecast player to make them available for another device your are going to use with Muzecast;
To create membership in Muzecast forum for Technical support;

How do we protect your information?

We implemented variety of security measures to maintain safety of your personal information when you are using Muzecast. All sensitive information about your library, song you are playing, or your user name and password are encrypted using proprietary encryption algorithm with double and sometimes triple encryption depth;

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

No way! We do not sell or transfer any personal information to anyone. Any requests to disclose your information will be discarded.

We put a lot of time and thoughts in complex development of Muzecast.
Free version of Muzecast will display advertisements. When you click on advertisements delivered by Muzecast, you will typically be directed to a third party's web page or application installation. We explicitly do not send any of your information to third party, but once you are navigated to third party web page, it might collect some of your information, such as email, phone number, or list of apps on your device. Muzecast is prohibiting third party to collect your precise location via GPS or cell towers.
